About REZA
Why REZA exists
The fitness industry has no shortage of supply. What's scarce is coaching where someone can explain why your programme looks the way it does. REZA was set up to make that difference, which means we deliberately coach fewer people than we could.
From the law to the gym
Roberto began his career as a lawyer. That profession unlearns you of one thing: the idea that a strong conviction is enough. A position without evidence doesn't hold up, and anyone who lets a weak argument slide because it sounds good always comes back to it.
That way of thinking carried over into the work that pulled him more. He's been an entrepreneur in sport for years, with people on the floor every day. He's seen up close what works, and what happens to programmes that look fine on paper but don't fit someone's life.
REZA emerged at the point where those two things meet. Sports science says what's likely to work. Practical experience says what someone will actually do. A good programme accounts for both.
What you notice from this
Questions get answered. If you want to know why you're doing four sets and not six, or why your protein intake sits at a particular number, you'll get the answer and where it comes from. Where the evidence is thin, you'll hear that too. Projecting certainty that isn't there is the fastest way to lose trust.
Beyond that, little is assumed. Progress is recorded, not estimated. If it turns out after six weeks that the assumption was wrong, the plan changes. That isn't a change of course, it's the whole point of measuring.
The name
REZA is a family name. It refers to the people this work exists for in the first place. That's more than a sentimental detail: it's the reason health here goes further than a number on a scale. Staying strong means being able to keep doing what matters to you, for the people who count on you.
